Judy Willis

 

In the middle of all this joy, we were struck by the sad death of Judy Willis on 19th June. Judy had been a dynamic member of the choir for a long time. She always really enjoyed her singing and gave performances her all. She also played a large part in our hosting of visiting choirs. She had been ill for a couple of years with cancer and had undergone extensive treatment. Choir members sang at her memorial service in Westbury Parish Church. Our Easter Concert in April 2008 was dedicated to Judy’s memory and the proceeds donated to Cancer Research.
