A sudden sadness:

 

The choir was hit by a sudden sadness in 2005 with the unexpected death of our Secretary for a number of years, Mrs Helen Preece. Helen and her family had been dedicated supporters of the choir for a number of years. Helen was treated for a short period at the Haematology Centre before she succumbed to her illness.

 

The choir were grateful for being given the opportunity to sing at Helen’s funeral service in Westbury Parish Church. We also dedicated our Easter concert to Helen’s memory.
